Golden beaches, Portuguese heritage lanes and a coastline that feels like a different country.
Coimbatore to Goa is the longest route we run, and we’re upfront about that — it’s a genuine long-haul drive down the western coast via Mangaluru, so most of our travellers either split it with an overnight halt or fly in and use our vehicles for getting around once they land.
Goa itself needs little introduction: white-sand beaches on the Arabian Sea, whitewashed Portuguese-era churches, spice plantations inland, and a beach-to-nightlife pace that’s a genuine change from the hill-station trips we’re usually asked about.
November to February is peak season — dry, warm, and the busiest on the beaches and in Old Goa. October and March are quieter with similar weather and better rates. Monsoon (June-September) closes most water sports and many shacks, though Dudhsagar Falls is at its most dramatic in this window.
A short list of stops most of our Goa packages build the day around — not an exhaustive list, but the ones worth planning your time for.
The classic North Goa beach strip, with water sports, beach shacks and the busiest nightlife scene in the state — go early for a quieter beach, evening for the atmosphere.
A UNESCO World Heritage church holding the relics of St. Francis Xavier, part of a cluster of 16th-century Portuguese churches that make Old Goa worth a half-day on its own.
A 17th-century Portuguese fort and lighthouse overlooking the mouth of the Mandovi river, one of the better sunset viewpoints on the North Goa coast.
A multi-tiered waterfall on the Goa-Karnataka border reached by jeep safari through Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary — best July to January, when the flow is strongest.
A long-running Wednesday market of stalls, live music and street food, still one of the better places in Goa for souvenirs and people-watching.

The Coimbatore-Mangaluru-Karwar coastal route is the most scenic option, roughly 13-14 hours, and we recommend splitting it with an overnight halt near Mangaluru rather than driving straight through.
Direct trains connect Coimbatore to Madgaon (Goa’s main station); for groups on a fixed schedule, this is often more comfortable than the full road journey.
Goa’s Manohar International Airport (Mopa) or Dabolim Airport are both well connected from Coimbatore with a change at Bengaluru or Kochi — the option most of our clients choose, using our cars only for local travel once in Goa.
For a trip under 5 days, we usually suggest flying and using our vehicles for local sightseeing in Goa — it leaves more actual holiday time. For those who want the coastal road trip itself as part of the experience, we’re happy to plan the drive with an overnight halt.
Four full days lets you cover both North and South Goa’s beaches and churches without rushing. Three is workable if you’re focused on North Goa alone.
Yes — we arrange AC vehicles with driver on the ground in Goa for clients who fly in, covering airport transfers and full-day sightseeing.
